Bitterly Tonic

1/5Difficulty

The most direct way to reveal Bitterly's botanical personality is to mix it with a tonic whose quinine elevates the bitter orange and wormwood for an aromatic, sparkling style.

Ingredients

  • 50 ml PECETTE Bitterly

  • 100 to 120 ml tonic (Fever Tree, Hysope, Double Dutch...)

  • Ice cubes

Glassware and garnish

  • 1 large balloon glass

  • 1 slice of fresh orange

Preparation

  1. Fill a balloon glass with plenty of ice cubes.

  2. Pour in PECETTE Bitterly.

  3. Gently top up with well-chilled tonic.

  4. Stir very lightly, to mix without losing the effervescence.

  5. Garnish with a slice of fresh orange.

Tasting experience

On the nose, aromas of bitter orange, citrus and Mediterranean herbs unfold. On the palate, the whole is lively, sparkling and moreish, carried by a soft and elegant bitterness.

Apéritif PECETTE Bitterly

Bitterly

PECETTE Bitterly draws its inspiration from the great traditional bitters.

Its style embodies the refined alliance between bitter orange, rosemary and aromatic herbs.

Its structure is expressed through the freshness of dealcoholized wine and the precision of botanical distillation.

Our aperitif offers a harmonious and singular tasting experience, born from the meeting of the liveliness of bitter orange, the depth of quassia amara, the herbal imprint of rosemary and the sweetness of spices.

Tasting: neat over ice with an orange zest, or with an artisanal tonic.
